Richard GauerIn 1982 inventor Richard Gauer, using his experience as a skier and ice skater began making and testing a new product for the sport of snow skiing. His primary objective would be to develop a product that would be easy to use. This product should have excellent rotational mobility, easy edge-to-edge transfer, excellent edge hold and stability at high speeds, providing more fun with less effort for skiers of all abilities. Only 80cm in length, the Gauer's unique and patented shaped structure comes from more than eight years of development and testing. The precise engineering of the Gauer Blade has created a new dimension in performance. This revolutionary product allows complete maneuverability while maintaining an extremely high degree of stability at various speeds and providing superior edging. Used with or without poles, the Gauer Blades will allow beginners to learn the sport easily. Intermediate skiers will find an increase in confidence allowing them to make rapid progress. Advanced Gauer bladesand expert skiers will find the Gauer Blades' unique performance will allow them to explore new heights in fun and excitement in racing or "banging the humps."
